Purchase of Heavy-Duty 40 Foot CNG Low Floor Transit Buses

Transdev, doing business as NICE Bus, is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide firm, fixed pricing for the purchase of forty-three (43) heavy-duty 40 foot CNG low floor transit buses for use in suburban transit service. There is No DBE Participation Goal for this procurement. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and prices shall remain firm throughout the contract term. Bus deliveries shall commence by or before November 2015.
All Questions shall be submitted to the sole point of contact by 12:00PM-Noon EST on Thursday August 7th, 2014. Sealed bids must be received on or before Thursday, October 30, 2014, 10:00AM (EST) by NICE Bus at 700 Commercial Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:05AM EST on same date and at same location.

Funding support for this project is provided through a financial grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). In accordance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 26, participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in all aspects of this federally funded contract will be encouraged and supported.
